Exercise Physiology

Structured, expert-led training designed to help you regain movement, prevent future injuries and build long-term resilience.

Expert support from pain to progress

Our goal is to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and strength-building to help you regain movement, build resilience, and prevent future injuries. Our exercise physiologists’ team at CPS uses targeted programs to restore mobility and support long-term wellness – no matter your starting point.

WHAT IS EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY?

Exercise Physiology is an allied health profession focused on the assessment, prescription, and delivery of exercise as medicine.

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) specialise in designing evidence-based movement programs for people managing chronic disease, injury, disability, or those simply looking to improve their long-term health and physical function.

Unlike general fitness training, exercise physiology is a clinical service. Your AEP assesses your condition, health history and goals to create a program that is safe, targeted and built around what your body actually needs.

How We Approach Exercise Physiology at Clinical Physio Solutions

Our exercise physiologists take a structured, clinical approach to every patient. We can combine assessment with evidence-based exercise prescription to deliver programs that are safe, targeted, and built around your individual needs and goals.

Comprehensive Assessment

Your first session begins with a detailed conversation covering your health history, current condition, daily activity levels, work demands, and what you want to achieve.

Individualised Treatment Plan

Based on your assessment, we develop a program that is specific to your body, your condition, and your goals.

Clinical Exercise Delivery

Your sessions are supervised by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who monitors your technique, adjusts intensity, and ensures every movement is performed safely and effectively.

Home Program and Self-Management

Long-term results happen outside the clinic as much as inside it. We provide you with a clear home exercise program, practical guidance on staying active day-to-day.

Education and Lifestyle Support

We work with you on behaviour change, activity planning, and lifestyle strategies that support your health goals well beyond your final session with us.

Tailored Support for Every Person

Our exercise physiologists work with patients of all ages, fitness levels, and health backgrounds, meeting you where you are and supporting you toward where you want to be.
